Are you thinking about visiting Lititz Moravian?  Here's some helpful information.

Where is the church and how do I get there?  The church is located in the 200 block of east Main Street in Litittz.  If you are at the square in Lititz, go east on Main Street past the Cedar Street stop light to the middle of the next block.  The church is on the right.

Where can I park?  There are four reserved parking places for guests in the main parking lot behind the church. From Main Street, drive between the two main church buildings to the rear of the church and find the reserved spaces in front of the white cottage. There is also convenient parking on the Pierson Playground just to the west of the church, which can be accessed from Cedar Street (the street at the stop light mentioned above) about 1/2 block south of Main Street, just across from the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church.  Drive through the Trinity parking lot to the Pierson Playground.

What door should I enter?  If you are attending church services, any entrance to the main church building will get you to the sanctuary.  There are three; one in the front (visible from Main Street,) one on the front right corner, and one under the rotunda at the main parking lot.

What if I am going to the Christian Education Building?  Most events held in the CEB are easily found by entering in the main door at the south side of the building near both parking lots.

What is the phone number and email address?  Phone number is 626-8515 and the email address is "office@lititzmoravian.org"

Who are Moravians anyway? You can learn a lot about the Lititz Moravians in the "About Us" tab on the home page of this website.  You can also learn about the world-wide Moravian church using the link to the Moravian Church in the "Moravian Links" tab.

What should I know about the worship service?  We are a Christ-centered church that believes in God as our Creator and loving heavenly Father, in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, and in the Holy Spirit as our Comforter and Sustainer.

What happens during the service?  Services are held at 8:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. on Sunday mornings.  The 8:00 service is typically about one hour long while the 10:30 service can be slightly longer.  Our service is characterized by music, prayer, scripture reading and a sermon and is typical of most Protestant services.

How is communion observed?  Is communion for everyone?  We practice open communion whereby anyone who professes Jesus Christ as his/her savior and is of appropriate age may participate in communion.  Communion is served by clergy in the pews.

What is available for my children?  We have a nursery staffed by church member volunteers (background checks required) which operates during the 10:30 service.
