January 8, 2017 - For New Years and EpiphanyWe share Holy Communion together as we begin this special season. The word epiphany means manifestation or dawning. This season speaks of the dawning on people of who Jesus really is. We join the Magi, reading Matthew 2:1-12, bowing down in awe and worship before the Christ Child.

July 6th marks the 601st anniversary of this "pre-Reformation" reformer's martyrdom, as he chose to remain true to his Lord, and his convictions, even though it meant being sentenced to be burned alive.
August 6, 2017 - Moravian Pentecost Holy CommunionWe remember a day in our church history, which continues to make and remake us! It was August 13, 1727 when God mended the broken community of Moravians in Herrnhut, pouring out his Spirit upon them and preparing them for mission to every corner of the world.
October 1, 2017 - Worldwide Holy CommunionWe share communion here at LMC knowing that Christians around the world are also sharing in communion.
November 19, 2017 - Christ as our Chief Elder Holy CommunionWe renew our life together in Christ as our ultimate authority as we conclude worship with Holy Communion. This celebration marks the 275th anniversary of the announcement made to Moravian Churches of the realization that Jesus Christ himself, not any human being, is head of the Church. We ponder our faith on this communion Sunday.
