Welcome to Rooted!
Rooted is the children’s ministry of Lititz Moravian Congregation for children from Nursery through 5th grade, and families are warmly invited to come and see what it’s all about. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or looking for a place where your child can grow in faith and friendship, there’s a place for you here.
Our goal is simple and meaningful: to help children become rooted in Christ by building a strong, joyful foundation for a personal relationship with Jesus. Using the Spark Sunday School curriculum, children explore faith through prayer, conversation, and hands-on Bible learning that comes alive through science, art, drama, food, and games. Each week offers opportunities to wonder, create, ask questions, and discover God’s love in ways that connect to everyday life.

Rooted is also a place where friendships grow. Through Sunday mornings, special events, and opportunities to serve, children learn what it means to care for one another and be part of a loving faith community.
Moravians have a long-standing tradition of nurturing children in faith, education, and scripture, and we are grateful to continue that tradition today. We joyfully welcome new families and children who are seeking a warm, engaging, and positive environment where faith is shared, curiosity is encouraged, and everyone is invited just as they are.

Families are welcome to join at any time during the year and participate as often as they are able. Sunday School meets from September through May, from 9:15–10:15 a.m. in our Christian Education Building (or the “CEB,” as we like to call it!).
Getting started is easy! Simply use the registration button or QR code below to complete a brief registration form so we can get to know your child(ren). On your first Sunday, we’ll gladly have someone greet you, show you to the classrooms, and introduce you to the teachers so your family feels comfortable and welcomed right away.

Vacation Bible School
We invite the community to join us for our annual Vacation Bible School for children aged 3 to 6th grade to absorb the good news of Jesus and share it in their lives. With Bible stories, crafts, games, snacks, children's Bible Songs, and more, the children have fun and learn lessons about God's love for us and through us.
Preschool Story Hour

Children aged 3 to 5 join us for an hour of stories, songs, crafts, snacks, and more! Space is limited; therefore, you must register your child for this free event (September through May)
